  1. Hi guys, I have been looking for more information regarding what happens once you have completed training, where you are likely to be posted, how long between finishing training and starting full time soldier roles. Any additional advice will be greatly appreciated. My apologies if this has been covered before or is in the wrong section, cheers

  3. You are stupid, so guessing your RLC.

There are many different Regts in the Army, based in different parts. So without telling people which Regt you are joining then we won't be able to tell you.

  5. post training involves sorting letters and parcels to make sure that at least 90% go to the correct destination and that a good standard in variable delivery times is maintained.

your job will be different to a civilian postman in that they walk around in shorts looking cheerful whilst you will expect mail recipients to come to you to collect their post so that you can make them wait at a hatch and listen to your moaning. there are hatches all over the army.

if your keen and have aptitude the whole process can be completed in a week.
  6. You guys should try stand up :D
  7. You will be told all that info when you need to know it. A lot of the answers are dependant on circumstances that will probably not be what they are right now. General answers are you will be given info on postings nearer the end of your training, you will get a chance to make preference choices (but don't bank on getting them).
