Poppy Appeal Collectors wanted

From The Staffordshire Evaning sentinel. Shortage of volunteers.

DOZENS of volunteers are wanted to help with this year's poppy appeal.
More than £303,000 was raised through North Staffordshire's Royal British Legion poppy appeal last year.
But as existing collectors become increasingly frail, 10,000 more volunteers are needed nationally.
Community fund-raiser Nick Oldfield said: "Many of our collectors are older people who are becoming frail and can no longer assist us. They have well and truly done their bit and now we need some new faces.
If you register on the Royal British Legion website they will send you the contact details of your local co-ordinator who will arrange for a collection tin/tray of poppies to be delivered to you. You can then go out and do your bit. The more volunteers - the more poppies sold.

You should have done this about 6 months ago which is what they told me 6 months ago when I registered, I nagged them today and got the details of my local organiser who it turns out I know anyway!
Ugly waits to find a spot at Tescos or sainsbury's.
