Pop-Up tents

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. There are pop-up tents available; the original company being QUECHUA. They now have a few imitators.
Some one mentioned that there are larger versions available. Has anyone seen them? I think they may be military issue only.

  2. FFS hang onto a guyline when pitching them on a windy day; save yourself some running. Don't expect them to keep you dry in prolonged heavy rain.

  3. I have had a Quechua one for a couple of years. Ideal for the kids in the garden in the summer. I'd be really interested in one that packed down smaller. It's a bit cumbersome to have a frisbee on the back of my bike

  4. Having seenon e of these in the flesh I can confirm that they are little more than a kids toy...
