Poor "professional" builds - images and examples

I recently came back to modelling after a very lengthy hiatus and have been reading - ok, let's call it what it is, scouring - the forum for tips and tricks and general advice on how to get it right. I'm quite surprised at how many of the threads contain comments on how people have done or seen things done wrong and thought it might be a good idea to start a thread in which those who know how things should be done can post images of builds showing how things shouldn't be done and discuss it in a constructive way. It'd be handy to know what overdoing weathering looks like, for example, or just general poor workmanship and pointing out why. If any of the experienced members have examples to hand I'd love to see them.

Its a rebox of the Matchbox kit dating back to around 1979, good find
I built the Matchbox Welly a few years back for my local air museum,
map fixed to baseboard c.jpg

apparently it's the least unrealistic model kit. Turned out ok, to my eye, but I'm not really an aircraft model specialist. But I had to make a specific plane that did SEO drops.

Considering that the Wellington was a 2 engined bomber I would tend to agree:)

Years ago when I worked for the RAF, a flight of the more basic helicopters arrived one morning (Sycamores anybody?} and lined up outside the hanger in which we were working. Our very amiable but eccentric Flight Sergeant suddenly dashed outside carrying a fire bucket full of water and yelling "Quick everybody, the fokkers are mating!"
