It has been widely reported in today's press (see Grauniad et al) that Brown has been desperate for private talks with BamBam and has had to be told to feck off 5 times.

Say what you like about BamBam but clearly he knows a pointless twunt when he is presented with one.

Its one thing when Brown makes an arrse of himself and his party (and he has plenty of help there) but unfortunately he represents all of us on the world stage and he is making our country look foolish.

Some one needs to get a grip -

Obama probably realises he doesn't want to be too closely associated with broon as hes likely to have to work with Cameron for much of his presidency.

Being born in a manger doesn't make you a dog. Cameron may have been born in England but he is not English.

Blair, Brown, Cameron...

all lying, thieving, corrupt career politicians.

Is it just me or is there a pattern beginning to emerge??

What we have seen in the last decade or so is the rise of a professional 'Political Class'… people totally detached from reality and unconnected with the real world.

Their usual career path is University > Political Activist > Safe Seat > Job for life.

We have a Parliament that no longer represents 'the people' or has any understanding of how real people live.

Perfect example? Brown. Never learnt to drive, has always been chauferred around in cars that cost him nothing to run and can park anywhere without problem.

Result? Brown has no clue how dependent the real world is on their cars and how expensive motoring has become for the real world and is happy to wage idiological war against the car.

Or to quote a military man "Being born in a stable does not make one a horse
- A retort to being called Irish."

(quote from the Duke of Wellington, more here http://www.napoleonguide.com/aquotes_welli.htm )

edited to make the link work. I think the trick is to put a space after the link.

All true so why cant the Minister for Defence be a retired General, or the Minister for Education be a former university Don, the Minister for Finance a self made billionaire, probably bad examples but why not people with experience in the fields they are suppoesed to represent, I mean wtf does Bob Ainsworth know about the armed forces ffs....

Only what he learned during his time in the IRA supporting International Marxist group.

Hardly what you'd call a suitable qualification for the post of Defence Secretary.
