Please reinstate full quoting features

By that I mean, when I quote someone, who is quoting someone else, please include the original quote as well.

It loses so much in the translation just to reply to someone and their comment, but you can't see the original source of what they were replying to. Pretty sure arrse did this differently before. Ok, it might take up a bit more bandwidth, but still.

Apologies if it's been discussed etc. etc.

I can reply to random statements by people, but if you don't know what they were talking about, it makes no sense at all. It stops me from commenting (probably not a bad thing I know).

When someone quotes a post by someone, they should be able to see what it was that was being replied to.

Basic train of thought, line of reasoning stuff. Please don't make it so disjointed and hard to see what it was we were replying to in t'first place! When you reply to a post, please include the entire message.

Ta!

Quotes of quotes of quotes tend to get quite tedious, as they take up lots of room and as they grow narrower become increasingly difficult to read.

It's also possible to do this manually, provided you are not too thick.

That kind of rules out a high %age around here, Joseph.

But you can do this.

Or do I need to continue?

Because your posts aren't long enough at the moment.
