Player Unknown's Battlegrounds

Got this a few days ago for the Xbox. Very addictive. Also like the setting of an abandoned communist era island- reminds of operation flashpoint but with evhis of Chernobyl thrown in

Not noticed any hacking apart from one incident when I got picked off in the higher floor of an apartment block. Seemed unlikely that I was in clear view for a snipe from another building, but who knows.

There is clitch/bug that happens. You can see though a building and shoot someone.
Not had it done to me though but few videos on YouTube about it. Really bad one at military base, which I believe has been fixed with this week's patch.

I have managed one chicken dinner so far on the xbox, plenty of top tens which isn't to bad for mid forties player.

I've got a handful of top tens, just keep falling short when the map shrinks. Need to calm the adrenalin and take a more stealthy approach - getting 'zapped' for 30secs by the electricity isn't the end of the world.

I've also varied my tactics for a different experience. I've been intentionally dropping into urban areas to get some early kills under my belt. Seem to get better kit in these areas and it's a different player experience

I played Saturday afternoon, final 8 hand were shaking that bad I couldn't get my aim on someone even though I had the drop on him lol.
Populated areas will have more loot. Some good quiet spots are farm buildings just East of Pochinki on the edge of fields.
Had some amazing gear from those also Shelter gets overlooked a lot as well. School, flats just by School and Military base is the best place for gear.

It defintely has an emotional effect this game.

My house has been quiet for a few days with my wife visiting her family. Felt a bit paranoid after a few hours play when I hear footsteps or cars outside!

I'm kinda lucky, in that my workplace has an XBox one so I can get a couple of games during my lunch break depending on how well I do.
Even to the point of having extra 20min's once because I was top 10.
Little hint for Xbox users, if you have the holo lense fitted, press LB (Holds your breath (ingame that is)) and you get an extra bit of zoom. Handy for getting the drop on someone 50m +
Red dot sight, if its too bright. Bring up your sights and then hold RB and move the left stick up and down to adjust the brightness.
While running or stationary, holding the RB allows you to look around in TPP.

I like playing FPP, but thanks for the tips. Every little advantage helps in this game, such are the margins for sucess/ failure.ĺ

New update for PC and the game will now contain an SLR, that's enough to make 2/3s of this forum go moist.
PUBG patch
