  1. Hi,

Im currently serving in the REME, considering transfer to AAC pilot. The thing is i am 30 in Jan 12. I have read the DIN and understand that the requirement is to be "In pilot training before your 30th birthday, although exceptional cases may be considered". I have passed RAF Cranwell Aptitude and Medical tests in 2005 and I am already a Staffie.

My question is this: Does anyone know if i will be wasting my time in putting in my Pilot Papers?

    Cheers

  2. Quite an important career question, so why ask a bunch of ********* on the internet?

  3. I'd ring Middle Wallop direct. Papers have a habit of getting 'misplaced' for a lot of people looking to transfer.
