Pikey Watch

Yet another Pikey conman targetting the elderly in and around Cardiff including a retired vicar. "Wentloog Road" in St Mellons is a long-established camp of theirs. It's really a big industrial estate.

They play absolute havoc with all the businesses unfortunate enough to be located there, including and up to ram raiding them. Almost untouchable of course.

Fraudster posing as roofer tricked pensioner out of £9,000 savings

A fraudster persuaded a pensioner to hand over £9,000 of savings by pretending to be a roofer sent to work on her block of flats.

Thomas Connors also gave a clergyman a quote for £4,000 for replacing cracked tiles – work later judged by an independent expert to be worth £700 and in fact completely unnecessary.

Sentencing him at Newport Crown Court , Judge Jeremy Jenkins described the defendant’s behaviour as “disgraceful”. Prosecutors said the offending happened over a 15-month period and involved three elderly victims.

The court heard Connors cold-called the victims and persuaded them to have unnecessary work carried out on their homes.

In December 2017 the defendant targeted a clergyman who was in his late 80s and had difficulties with his mobility. Connors told the victim he had cracked tiles at the back of his property, which needed to be replaced, and quoted him £4,000 for the job.

He then reduced that figure to £3,500 as a “special discount” if the man agreed to have the work done before Christmas. The defendant did not provide any paperwork or advise the victim of his cancellation rights.

heard a report last night
pikeys breaking into a van in Perry Hill and stealing tools,, then attempting to steal a dog from a front garden ( quite common round here)
they were followed by a member of the public and drove onto a pikey site just off the A4019 at Cheltenham, its a tatty farm track leading to a site concealed by trees

Our white van, twin axle caravan friends appear to have parked up on the recreation ground just behind the abbey in Cirencester!
You stay 10 minutes over in the carpark and you get a ticket. Tear up the grass and camp in the middle of a park.....no problem!

Some of the team have been working in Doncaster recently tackling organised crime. The bike and quad pictured were both located at the Stocksbridge Travellers site.

The quad had been outstanding since 2016 and was stolen from North Yorkshire.
The Honda had been outstanding three weeks and was stolen from Scunthorpe.
Two males were arrested for burglary and theft. Enquiries are ongoing.

High time these "people" were recognised as criminal families, like the Mafia.

The scouts, masquerading as scrap dealers and odd- jobbers,

The next level alerted to the vulnerable, and who to target,

The top of the chain, fencing and laundering money........

A pikey rented a place in our village for a while, got raided by plod and they found a load of stolen stuff in the garage

Claimed innocence and says the landlord or someone else must have put them there and they knew nothing about them

Plod recovered the stolen gear, and pikey got off scot free

They got him eventually though on a drugs bust, he'd hollowed out a washing machine and had an escape tunnel built, managed to leg it to the back garden when cops bust in, but broke his leg trying to jump the fence to get away

So why don't they all use this excuse, or was it plod didn't want the paperwork or were worried the CPS would say no????

had a late day today, a few meetings
afterwards driving to site a large pick up with raised sides suddenly pulls up on the footpath, and a massive lump of lard gets out phone in hand ( so will have been driving while on the phone) I had to brake hard and pull round him
as I did I noticed the rear reg plate and the front reg plate were different ??
pikey ****** of course
just going to run the data system on the car and pull the images out for the boys in blue
