Piers Moron on trial!!

Encouraging news from the BBC:

MORGAN MAY FACE COMMONS

Mirror editor Piers Morgan could be called before MPs to be questioned over photographs allegedly showing British soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners.

In an editorial published today, The Mirror said it had "no doubt" the photographs were genuine.

The photographs published last Friday appeared to show a hooded man being struck with a rifle butt, urinated on and having a gun held to his head.

The Prime Minister called the allegations "extremely serious" but said should they prove not true "that is also very serious".

Armed Forces Minister Adam Ingram has said the military authorities would leave "no stone unturned" in their efforts to establish the authenticity of the pictures.

In a Commons statement, he called on the Mirror to co-operate fully with the inquiry being carried out by the Royal Military Police Special Investigation Branch.

The newspaper has already handed over 20 photographs to the investigation.

But Mr Ingram insisted the claims were already undermining the work of the Armed Forces trying to restore stability in Iraq and putting lives at risk.

"There is always a question of lives being put at risk because of what may prove to be unfounded allegations, so it is on the conscience of those who run it in this way," he said.

Commons defence committee chairman Bruce George is expected to discuss with fellow committee members whether Mr Morgan should be invited to give evidence to the committee.

Mr George said he was confident that his colleagues would agree to invite the Daily Mirror editor to appear before it.
Let's stop pi$$ing about and get the Chief Leech on the stand.

Don't even bother putting him on the stand, march off to the front of Buck Palace and shoot him there.

No forget shooting, too quick.

Anybody any ideas of a suitable means to despatch this tw*t?

Perhaps Piers would like a personal fact finding tour of downtown Basra.

To get a better feeling for the mood on the ground he could be dressed like the shiny `soldier' in his photos, handed a quality digital camera and pointed towards Najaf or Fallujah escorted by `his members of the regiment'.

I suppose tying him up, putting a sandbag on his head, throwing him in the back of a bedford, giving him a kicking, mashing him in the crotch with a rifle, p*ssing on him and then throwing him out of the vehicle and leaving him for dead while it drives along Fleet Street is out of the question?
