Pharmacist career in the Army

My son is heading off to the University of Birmingham to study a 4 year MPharm degree with a plan to join the Army as a Pharmacist.

Anybody able to offer any detail about the career? Thanks.

Wherever you find the British Army, you will find the Army Medical Services (AMS) who can deploy at short notice anywhere in the world to provide medical support. The AMS will be there to maintain soldiers' health and provide medical care to the sick and injured.

Update. He passed the AOSB and is now waiting for dates for an AMS interview of some sort.
