Defeats the object surely? Wasn't there a British memorial from the 20's that had been left unharmed all this time, found and refurbed. These servicemen/women are all already on the wall of the National Memorial Arboretum.

If the names aren't already on the National Monument, for goodness sake don't leave the memorials out there for the Iraqis to do with what they want with it.

Whilst that is true, I doubt this time they'll be so lucky. One of the loonies will most likely take a hammer to the memorials as soon as we've left and they think they can get away with it.
