Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I couldn't find this anywhere on arrse, but make sure you sign it like when you get a chance, prefrably before jan 2010.

    Number10's site
  2. Good luck with that. Votes need buying.
  3. £24bn, really?

Meaning we only have £11bn to spend if you take that much from our current budget...
  4. Of course, the government take notice of all these pointless e-petitions don't they?
  5. Where has this infrormation come from... 24bn is ridiculous, has the petition starter just decided on a random number? Maybe she meant 2.4bn, and I doubt their even considering that now after all the issues in the press. Mandelson and Cameron have come out and said that the defense budget is 'ring fenced'
  6. You believe them?

I seem to remember Osborne (i think) from the Tories declaring that defence wasn't automatically safe from cuts either.
  7. Just sign it .............
