Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Now then Fellas, I have just moved to Larkhill from Yorkshire and i am looking for some local shooting. I'm not interested in game(Too Expensive), I just want somewhere cheap or free to potter around with my gun and my dog. Rabbits, pigeons, corvids anything really. Can anyone help?????

    Cheers :D

  2. Google local Chavs - they are in season all year round

  3. If you need shooting there must still be, certainly used to be, the bullford and larkhill hunt????The guy in charge is allways located at Bullford if I remember correctly, and the last estate keeper was Jhon knight, a right cnut ..................most probably moved on or dead now , don't know , had a bullet hole in one ear , unmistakable chap.
Try the Bullford guard room for a lead, if you come up with somthing please PM me as I also have a vested interest for a friend, who I used to work with.
    Thanx

  4. I believe they have just released some more Great Bustards, they are proper game, delicious. Try them for size.

  5. Roger, Thanks for the lead, I will keep you informed!

  6. The bloke running the Great Bustard reintroduction project is an ex Squaddie (and ex copper!) called David Walters; who not only stalks, but like a breath of fresh air also shoots a Martini-Henry for fun.

And yes I think he may get a bit pissed off to find some of his birds missing over the Christmas period! :D
