Personal Trainers in Nottinghamshire

Discussion in 'Health and Fitness' started by Gemma, Nov 21, 2006.

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Am in desparate need of a personal trainer so I can get extra fit for my army officer selction brifing in february. Any help on this matter would be muchly appreciated.
  2. Have a word at your local leisure centre or gym, they'll know someone
  3. You'd be better off buying a pair.
  4. Gemma, Trust me!

The fitness level's for the briefing are BASIC!!!

If you can't motivate yourself to get fit enough to reach them, then you should rethink your choices.

For clarity, you will run the beep test to level 8.1, do a small assault course and some problem solving.

It is not difficult and if approached with a positive mindset, can be done with minimal effort.

In terms of getting your fitness to this basic level, try to do 20-30mins of aerobic exercise 3-4times a week. Be it running, cycling, swimming or rowing. Throw in a few situps, squats and tricep dips or push-ups (the womans version)

PM, me if you want some more specifics.

    Best of Luck

Oh & how do you brif?
And what is army officer selction?
Are you hoping the Army is going to teach you to read & write?
  6. I was merely asking about Personal trainers in Nottinghamshire, not for a spelling & grammar lesson. Thanks all the same.
Just because I made a typing error, it does not mean to say I am inadequate at spelling.
  7. Civil to all please... :D
