Pension error and any legal claim?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Been out 7 weeks now. Got my Arrse sorted and had a job to walk into the day after I left.

Now still not had my pension and have today received my gratuity less my maximum commutation, which I had applied for. (I know it is dependent on your final medical, Mine was OK.)

Has anybody been in a similar situation? Can I get my max commutation at a later date and is there a legal precident for claiming interest on my unpaid pension?

    Thanks OB

  2. never heard this about the final medical. what's the score on it affecting your max commutation?

Commuation comes separate from gratuity, should follow in couple of days.
    Mine did.

  4. THanks OB will wait out.

Yes the Medical can prevent the commutatin max. If you on your last legs MOD won't hand it over as its more cash for them!
