  1. Hi, thought there may be some old and bold who may remember Fred, who passed away on 11th August, after a short illness.
He joined F Company as a boy soldier of 13 and thereafter served for 39 years until his retirement as Staff QM of Harrogate AAC in 1974.
He served all over the place, fought his war mainly in Burma, accompanied by his younger brother Stan (who took over from him at AAC as QM).
Stan is still very much on the go by the way.
    RIP, Fred.

  2. Way before my time.

    But RIP Fred.

  3. Vaguely recall him from Harrogate.
    RIP Fred.

  4. I got there in may 74, we may have crossed paths - thanks for the Greatcoat

    Regards

    RIP Fred
