Parts of arrse forcing pop up windows with possible malware links

Aye, but there's still obviously an issue that needs sorting.
It’s beyond annoying now - I’ve hardly bothered logging in this weekend, as almost every post gets ‘bumped’.

Now we seem to see posters' responses repeated multiple times. For the record, I'm hitting 'post' just the once but let's see how many times it appears.

Mods, there's trouble in paradise...

You have killed your popups?
  1. Select “Safari” > “Preferences“.
  2. Click on “Security” at the top of the window.
  3. Check the box “Block pop-up windows” to enable this feature. Uncheck it to disable it.
And cleared your cache?
  • Tap on Settings > Safari
  • Scroll down to the Settings and choose Clear History and Website Data
  • Confirm the action
  • Once that is done, scroll further down in Safari’s settings and select Advanced
  • Tap Website Data
  • Wait for it to populate and press Remove All Website Data at the bottom

Happening again. Same shit as before.

Both times seemed to be when I was firing out a “like.”

iPad running Magic Lasso ad blocker but still got through.

They’re back!

Are you running the basic or upgrade version?
I’ve installed the basic version.
It didn’t stop the ads on a new iPad, but my older iPad with no pop up blocking app is working much better.
