Paras to become part of the RAF

There's lots of talk about different units becoming parts of other arms, ostensibly to save money etc. Maybe we should think the unthinkable and consider the Parachute Regiment becoming part of the air force. It didn't do the Fallschirmjaeger any harm in WW2, and let's face it, it's air force planes that deliver them.

Why not hand the planes to the army instead? We don't just use them for throwing Paras out. Interesting point. Badly thought out.

How will that save money?
Is there any point?
What meds are you on you boring kunt?
How many times has this been 'discussed' before?
How long before some ****** mentions the date of the last operational jump?
Does your search function not work?
How long before someone mentions the last Commando raid?
How long before someone mentions amalgamation with the SRDG?
How long before this gets holed?

Just in case you're actually being serious:

The Parachute Regiment is an infantry unit, that happens to - theoretically/historically - jump out of aircraft as a method of delivery. Seeing as most troops travel to theatre in ac these days, would you suggest that we make all of the army part of the RAF?

Seeing as you're clearly on a wind-up though, please go back to eating your crayons rather than using them to scribble on this forum.
