Paramo kit on the shoot

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. There is some reference to Paramo elsewhere on the site, but I would be interested to know if anyone here uses it shooting?

A lot of the loaders/ keepers in the north lakes seem to swear by it on the moor, but I would be interested to know if anyone can speak for it amongst the brambles and pheasants rather than the heather and grouse?

  2. I use Paramo - but for hillwalking - and it's mega.

For shooting and brambles and stuff I'd say the plus points are less rustling and the robust contruction - if you tear the windproof outer, the Nikwax Analogy system still works...
