Para badge on medal ribbon

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Unlikely that a PARA would be entitled to the Battle of Britain clasp in the first place. Probably a personal affectation, nothing more.
  2. So it will be like the Herfie bottle top I have been keeping at the bottom of my suitcase for when the Gubmint cave in and issue a NDM.......................*runs in the direction of the camnet store, away from the torrent that follows every mention of the NDM*
  3. It's not a Battle Of Britain clasp on the medal, it's a mini Para Reg cap badge on the ribbon.
  4. Which is what the OP said, he also suggested that he might be wearing the badge "in lieu of...". Since it would be unlikely that he would be entitled to that clasp, it follows it would be unlikely he would wear something in lieu of it... n'est ce pas?
