Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. i've read on some websites that the us government has authorised the use of pentagrams on gravestones of military personnel whose religion was "pagan". any similar scheme for uk?
  2. yes instead of pantangle they put the quote " died a pointyheaded inbred who bummed his sister regularly"
  3. The Royal Navy leads the world in religious diversity. We've had a registered satanist in the fleet for years now. LINK

LMEM C Cranmer is permitted to perform satanic rituals aboard ship. This involves ceremonies where he and the padre don headgear made from goat's horns before dancing naked round the flight deck.

Normally, these ceremonies would culminate in the sacrifice of a virgin but, on a RN ship, tha's obviously out of the question.
  4. aah, i see you've been zapped by a stupidity spell. does that explain the name?
  5. OK admitt to being dumb enough to look to see if this was true
