Do you have to lock so many threads? I realize that there are plenty of stickies and there is a search function but you have to give some leeway to people. These are recruits after all and walking into the AFCIO is a difficult thing to do - so is posting on this forum for someone with no experience. A recruiter doesn't tell a potential recruit to "look in the faq's" when they walk in. They answer as many bone questions as they can over and over again.

I thought locking that thread asking about older applicants was somewhat uncalled for.

If people cannot even be bothered to use the search button, and want the same question answered once a month, this forum would be using the bandwith allocated to the UK.

This isnt a recruiting office, its a internet forum, you want a real answer ask the recruiting office, you want answers on Clown porn ask an arrser

1. This is the internet and not a recruiting office.
2. It is a website run by the Moderators on behalf of the site owners, they can do what they like with it.
3. Dry your eyes Princess.

Fair enough - I concede the point. I tend to forget how much traffic this site gets and the bandwith it consumes.

And also the same boring bone questions day after day......there is more than enough information in the annnouncements and stickies. Most of these locked threads are totally stupid questions which are asked...answered by the experts then totally ignored and asked again...so yes the MODS are rightfully locking them. Keep asking legitimate questions but not the boring crap like have you got a start date yet
