Why not, had an SSM in Germany in 1983 who had a dpm cover for his pace stick. He was an all round good chap and retired as a LtCol.

Still looked a twat with a dpm cover for his pace stick.

BTW , I passed out from the proper 6 week fuccabout in Pirbright as a qualified AAD instructor and never had time on a drill square again. Thank goodness.
