Yes.
Yes.
All is possible.
Some in the commandos are parachute trained.
As for a Para doing AACC yes its possible.

As is reasonable to expect, Officers are held to a higher standard than the OR's.

When everyone is beasted mercilessly the Officers must still emerge from the experience on top of their game and rally round the guys.

A big ask for most, who will be hanging in there themselves.

None are simply a course to be ticked off the list to prove you are " 'ard ".

During the course as an officer you will be expected to motivate, lead and ancourage, all of which is difficult if you yourself are knackered and just about hanging on day to day. As an officer you need to demonstrate 120% so that you are still bouncing around like Tigger during the most arduous of task's and at the end of the day. Therefore you need to be well prepared physically, mentally and professionally with your military skill's knowledge and ability's.

Possible, yes, reality, No.
A few have done it and served with 3 Cdo brigade but it is not the norm.

If you want to do both AAPPS and AACC you're best of going to RE and flit between 23/24 or join the RA and bounce back between 7 RHA ( PARA) and 29 Commando

If you can justify the time off from your real work, if you can convince the budget holder that you must do the course and then if you can get a place on either of the courses at a convenient time, of course you can collect a couple of badges.

It never fails to amaze me of the number of people that come on this site and ask questions about joining up.
They all seem to ask about the Paras or the AACC.
Everyone must be as hard as woodpecker lips, as they never seem to ask about becoming clerks/medics/cooks etc.

Every man jack is as hard as a woodpeckers lips, right up to the point where they visit the 'bottom field'.
