I'm sure for his peers he would have been a bit of an interesting character and added volumes to both the character and mystique of College.
In my lads case, it was the opportunity to lurk, dwell and experiment in world class laboratory facilities-each to their own I guess!
For me, as a postgraduate, the experience at Cambridge was unparalleled. Access to some of the greatest minds, most inspirational speakers, incredible research resources across the many libraries, and the experience of being made to feel part of a great institution, whether that was at college or department or across the whole university. I have much greater affinity from my time at Cambridge than I did as an undergraduate at my previous university.
