Outrage over halfcast doll.

The BBC is to replace a doll based on the Upsy Daisy character from CBeebies TV show In the Night Garden following complaints it is too light-skinned.

A BBC Worldwide spokesman said it had conducted research after getting "a handful" of complaints that the doll had lighter skin than the TV character.
Excuse me whilst I go hang myself.

Not a race issue, it's just kids that are understandably upset that is doen't look like what it's supposed to be. I can't think I'd have taken kindly to a Thunderbird 3 with five engines.

my daughter recieved a lighter skin toned version of the doll for Christmas.

You would have thought that the "kids" would be colour blind by now.
