Otterburn ranges for Pre-Deployment Training??

#1
Does anyone know what goes on at Otterburn in terms of Med Unit pre-deployment training? I have deployed with the Army to Iraq a few times, and been on the ole' Hospex at Strensall several times as a result, but i never attended any training at Otterburn ranges!?

Advice appreciated.

Its very wet at the moment, loads of rain so the streams and haugh's are quite high. Ground is v boggy at all levels. Its also a little chilly compared to the rest of the UK. Weather can turn quickly and on the tops its usually windy.

Oh yes, take some mossie cream for when it warms a little.

Or, take your winter gear :)
