Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Does anyone know what goes on at Otterburn in terms of Med Unit pre-deployment training? I have deployed with the Army to Iraq a few times, and been on the ole' Hospex at Strensall several times as a result, but i never attended any training at Otterburn ranges!?

    Advice appreciated.

    Take plenty of mossie cream!
  3. Its very wet at the moment, loads of rain so the streams and haugh's are quite high. Ground is v boggy at all levels. Its also a little chilly compared to the rest of the UK. Weather can turn quickly and on the tops its usually windy.

Oh yes, take some mossie cream for when it warms a little.

Or, take your winter gear :)
  4. Or both and summer uniform and waterproofs
  5. PM sent RAF NURSE, im gonna be there myself ;)
