    Applications are invited for the position of Operations Manager for our Joint Venture operation at London Gatwick. This is a key role that has responsibility for a team of approximately 50 staff who provide aircraft fuelling services to 35 airlines on behalf of our JV customer ExxonMobil and British Airways. The JV refuels over 170 flights per day and operates to the highest standards of quality, punctuality and safety. The Operations
    Manager will have full responsibility for the safety and operational performance of the station, which includes both ITP service and the M+O of the ExxonMobil Fuel Facility and will report to the General Manager Fuels.

    Key responsibilities will include:
    · Leading and motivating staff to deliver a consistently safe, punctual and quality operation.
    · Maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders, including the JV customers, airlines, airport authority, key suppliers and internal customers.
    · Contributing towards budget planning and managing the budget effectively to ensure that controllable costs are maintained within that budget.
    · Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirements.
    · Ensure compliance with JIG /ExxonMobil Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS).
    · Ensure compliance with COMAH regulations.
    · The job holder will contribute towards the overall goals of the Fuels Operations business through involvement in corporate initiatives with other stations.

    We are looking for someone with a flexible, pro-active and organised approach to management and who wishes to develop their career further. The successful candidate will have experience of managing staff, ideally within a unionised environment and extensive knowledge of fuelling operations and COMAH regulations. Additionally,
    the successful candidate will be comfortable with managing budgets and in building strong customer relationships.

    Key competencies are; Operational Decision Making, Communicating with Impact,
    Coaching/Teaching, and Customer Orientation.
