Oooh the Leaders debate...

Many a true word....

Not sure why I think this, but I get the feeling that the debates may matter a lot less this time around. It's not that voters have decided yet, but rather they already feel informed enough not to rely on the TV debates to help them come to a final decision.
I wish we had reached that point back in 2010- it probably would have saved the country 5 years of that pretentious twat Nick Clegg and his collection of nonentities.

So the choice to lead the nation is between a brain damaged stuttering tubby who can't comb his own hair and an unshaven communist tramp that idolises Fidel Castro and thinks its still 1972 ?

Is there an option to vote for the Chuckle Vision party ?

The Brexit Party.
If nothing else its a shot across the bows of the establishment, and may make them sort their shite out.

Not necessarily.

She may have been neutropenic due to her chemotherapy and got an infection.

Patients like that can be walking around perfectly well one day (relatively speaking), and at deaths door the next.

I’m not saying that’s the case here, but it does happen quite a lot.
Stop using logical excuses, ffs, he’s a cnut

I agree.

And a politician, so a useless cnut as well.

But that doesn’t mean I should let my prejudice get in the way of the possibility that he might’ve been telling approximately the truth.

He wasn’t, of course, but you never know.

Broken clocks, and all that.

You never heard of blurring the truth so much it becomes fiction, propaganda, that’s what we need here, stop that weasely little fukc trumpet becoming PM at all costs!

Watching MSM this morning, the penny has dropped. These TV debates add nothing to the General Election campaign. They are there purely to fuel the media frenzy in the following days. All over the TV channels this morning, analysing it to death. There is no serious journalism or Political analysis going on here, it is muck racking, pure and simple.
Yup. You can see the writing on the wall when someone dares to turn down a TV debate. Their refusal then becomes the headline news and is followed by threats of “empty chairing”- the new nightmare distraction for people with more important things to think about.
It’s not an important part of the democratic process- indeed I believe it can be quite the opposite: it reduces the electability of a candidate to the public’s perception of how they performed in an hour-long slot.
The bit I found most hilarious about last nights’s waste of time was Julie Etchingham reading a viewer’s question to Johnson and Corbyn regarding how nasty politics has become. She invited them to shake hands!
This on a programme whose format is obviously designed to be adversarial and generate “news”. Otherwise why get the candidates on together?
Such programmes are irrelevant and pointless from any perspective other than TV ratings- it is an unwelcome import from the US who have been inflicted with them for decades. Leading to no discernible improvement in presidential candidates. And anyway, who decided that TV bellends called the shots?

Corbyn, as a radical leftist ideologue, has vowed that his very first task, even before taking domestic action like disbanding the monarchy, will be to "focus like a laser beam" on the ME by immediately reconstituting the British 1st Airborne division destroyed at Arnhem, with the mission of parachuting them on to the Occupied Territories (aka Judea & Samaria) in order to "make right by force of arms the injustice in Palestine". The British Army Chief of Staff responded by requoting his predecessor from the 1999 Serbian crisis that "I'm not going to start WWIII for you, Jerem(iah)!"

You may well jest. But I can't believe that the silly old trot would have the SC to be prime minister. Or have access to anything remotely sensitive to the national interest.

PM and ministers are not subject to SC or DV processes.

They must have some sort of clearance? What about Corbyn. where he is a known threat to the security of nation, and associate and supporter of terrorists? Bad state of affairs for the country when the choice is between Him and a blathering half witted sex maniac, that can't tuck his shirt in or comb His hair.

And the result is:
If you're a Tory voter then Boris edged it.
If you're a Socialist voter then Corbyn edged it.

If you're undecided (and I can't see why there would be many of those left) you're just as confused as ever and have absolutely no idea which one to trust.

Oh, and both got laughed at. Bojo when he said he tells the truth and Corbyn when he said he's made his points clear.
"Undecideds" gave it to Corbyn by a large margin (59 to 41.)

There is no clearance for them. If someone was for example a known Chinese spy the spooks would have a word in the PMs shell like and advise against giving them a post with access to sensitive material but the PM is free to ignore the advice.

Best and most informative interview so far was with Nigel Farage. Asked if there a place for the Brexit Party after Brexit? Nigel said Labour's disconnect with the people left a vacuum so yes, TBP would probably have to rebrand.
No big surprise there as the owners of the Brexit party website are looking for some form of recompense.
A rebranded Brexit company.
NSDAP? . (Nigel says donate a pound)

Corbyn has just finished, went down very well with the audience.
Gave straight, honest answers.
Looking forward to watching Johnson at 2030...
