This is the raw reality, that the media want to be part of the story and to an extent, promote its narrative and then talk about it to the exclusion of other viewpoints...... The internet has created a self selected bubble, which speaks for a small minority of the country and the rest of us have no input until election day.Watching MSM this morning, the penny has dropped. These TV debates add nothing to the General Election campaign. They are there purely to fuel the media frenzy in the following days. All over the TV channels this morning, analysing it to death. There is no serious journalism or Political analysis going on here, it is muck racking, pure and simple.
The bulk of the populace largely feels excluded and I am strongly reminded of the 80s, where the media were heavily against thatcher and all her eccentricites, but come the big day a large section of the country voted against what they publically professed.
