When they say that the C-IED experts are from the Royal Logistic Core, you know it's written by someone who's knowledgeable about the Military.

Was the (non-scrimmed) helmet the RESA was wearing the same as the rest of the gang? Is this the Mk 6?

Is the new helmet iPod compatible?

And why do paratroopers wear those great big pudding basin helmets? Is it a fashion statement like the tight trousers and oddly shaped berets?

Either that or the sangar guys were asleep! Hard to believe they got that close with the quantity and quality of TI/II systems out there at the moment.

Depends on your earpieces for the ipod.
The rest are weaing 6A's (based on the fact that everyone gets the 6 replaced by the 6A), but 'ally'd up' with a scrim net and either a rubber or green maskers rim.

The ANA sometimes "kick" the mines?!

Jesus Christ!
ANP used to (still do?) regularly throw them in the back of their pick ups and bring them in. Only the occasional detonation to mar their copybook...
