On behalf of Adjt DAC - Rehoming MWD

"Defence rehomes a number of retiring or failed military working dogs each year. Obviously we want good active homes for them from service personnel or the public. The dogs vary in breed - generally gun dogs or a variety of shepherds, aged from 1 to 10 years old. If you would like to apply to rehome one of these dogs please get contact with the DAC Procurement Section on 01664 418615; they will take your details and preferences in order to call you forward into the rehoming process."
Interesting...excuse my ignorance but is there a steady stream of dogs looking for new homes or is it a once in a while occurrence?
I've known a few people get dogs from DAC over the years. The dogs undergo phases of training, fail at any stage is unsuitability.

Still cracking dogs usually.
