Olympic Torch Guards Are Chinese SF...

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. The tracksuited Chinese security men guarding the Olympic torch are highly-trained killers from crack military special forces units.

Some were selected from the feared Flying Dragons and Sword of Southern China counter-terror units - which have regimes so brutal some recruits die within weeks.

Those who survive become experts in counter-terror and operating behind enemy lines.

  2. They're hardly gonna use some ACF and a few OTC are they!

  3. :omfg: I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you. I thought they were from a 'peace, love and communism the Chinese way' outreach group!

    :D

There would have been no problems in London and Paris then, because the damn flame would still be in a taverna in Greece :D

I was led to believe that they were from the Chinese Ping-Pong team! I am totally outraged at the revelations. Although, in retrospect, I couldn't see where they kept their balls. And bats.

  8. I wonder who will guard ours.

Probably some Air Soft Walts made up of 2 Lesbians 2 Transgender types 4 wheel chair bound folk and a Black up and coming rapper called "Mo Shizzle"

  9. Makes the GLA, the Met and the Olympic organisation look very naive and weak.

Lord Coe is reported as being furious but of course will do nothing other than talk tough. Standby for the farce in 2012, no doubt our glorious leaders will appoint a private security firm and this sort of thuggery will be common place.

    ;-)

  12. Errm - probably a stupid comment but ........ can anyone tell me why the Chinese SF, sorry, athletes, are guarding the flame? Surely it's not theirs until it actually arrives in China? Just a thought.

  13. So we've got nothing to worry about in a war aganst China, seing as their elite were taken out by the 1st batt Socialist Workers in London, and a strike detachment from the Legion de-Lefties in Paris

  14. Bambi - I think that the flame is handed over to the organising city after it's been lit , so it is 'theirs'.

There are some suggestions that the whole torch farce (which is purely commercial, despite all the flannel about taking the spirit of the Olympics around the globe) may be abandoned after this, which would be a good thing - only bettered by abandoning the pretentious * that is the opening ceremony (although you can guarantee that a legion of luvvies is anxiously hoping to be given 'creative control' over that and no-one will have the gumption to suggest that a rather more simple, shorter and less costly opening might be appropriate).

As in line up 10 participants from each country with two bottles of Warsteiner per person: "Ladies and Gents, welcome to the Games and we´ll start straight away with the Wobbly Boat Race" ??? With a few fireworks chucked in for good measure of course :D
