  2. I take it that it essentially a cut down L1A1 SLR? Hopefully it will stop the 'bring back the old SLR' type comments from the old and bold!
  3. You owe me a new keyboard. It wasn't coffee.

How long before someone moans about the plastic furniture?
  4. Does it come with a guard to stop it kicking into the ceiling?
  5. Not at all. In fact, it shows how versatile the design was and what a mistake it was to do away with it.

You'd never manage that with the SA80.

Well said Carrots! These youngsters just don't know what is good for them.

So instead of an SLR we get an SLP - Self Loading Pistol!!

Look good strapped to one's thigh in a cool holster while carrying an SLR!! :)
  7. Don't know about 'tactical', in pistol terms it looks more 'strategic' to me.

I'd suggest learning sign language before trying to clear a room with it, though, because that's what you'll be using for three months afterwards.

In fact wooden furniture would be a great improvement, because if you ever let one of those off indoors you could scratch 'WHAT?' On the butt and then just point to it when anyone speaks to you.

Really? The same as the para folding stock models, it doesnt have one it has a system similar to the L85/AR 18 etc.
  11. So its totally different on the inside from the slr ?

No just the spring and rats tail are inside instead of in the butt and an extra hole or two!
