Well done Jimmy Anderson on reaching the milestone of 300 test wickets. He is now 4th in the all-time list of England bowlers and has Fred Trueman in his sights, who sits on 307. When asked if anyone would ever reach his number in years to come, Fred said "they might, but they'll be bloody tired!". Jimmy still has some way to go to catch Ian Botham, but if he keeps fit, he could reach the target. Whatever happens, he has confirmed his place among the best bowlers in the game. As for the test against NZ, although it is slow going, it is turning out to be a bit of a cracker. Beats the IPL crap anytime.
