Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. "One of the most dangerous criminals in the region, Strahinja Raseta died while he was planting explosive under the Jeep of his acquaintance Milan Mitic, Belgrade media reported.

Raseta had, as has been confirmed, received injuries while planting and explosive devise under the Mercedes Jeep of his acquaintance Milan Mitic (48). The explosion took place at about 17.45. It was at fist believed that the killed man was Igor Stojkovic, after a passport in this name was found on the person who had planted the explosive. However, the police detectives established that the passport was a forgery, and subsequent checks led to the information that this was indeed Strahinja Raseta filed in the police records as a hired hit man.

Belgrade media report that Raseta had committed a series of assassinations using firearms, but that he was not an expert in explosives, and that this had led to his death. The first results of the investigation indicate to this fact, which have established that the explosive devise was supposed to be activated by heat, or rather when the car engine began to heat up. The experience of police detectives shows that usually such explosive devices are placed under cold car engines, so that they would cause an explosion while the vehicle is being driven, at the moment when the designated victim cannot avoid the attack."

Not such a bad day after all

  2. Is this some sort of social activity out your way RM?

  3. Possibly a not too good translation :D Actually the whole article details that Fecker 1 (the dead 'un) and Fecker 2 (The Fig 11) were oppos but Fecker 2 apparently set his "mate" up with the local Policija - oh and he owed Fecker 1 some 15,000 Euros.
