Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I have just noticed that you need to have 180+ UCAS Tariff points and GCSE's to be an officer but it doesn;t mention a degree.

I have GCSE's and A levels and a degree, but I don't have 180 UCAS points. 1 A level grade E, 2 AS Levels grade C (and general studies but that doesn't count) my degree is a 2:2 Hons BSc.

So I am unsure if I have enough qualifications to be an officer.
I have many professional qualification from my civi job (I am a design engineer), can anyone shed some light?
