OFCOM to be given wide ranging powers that would kill off the likes of ARRSE

You trawling for cock again? No matter how many times you ask, I'm not available, OK?

The discussion was in reference to extrajudicial killings in living memory. Hate crimes committed by individuals do happen rather frequently.
Successive presidents have tried to shape new terminology for political killings. But they’re still mostly illegal.

The legality of killings such as in the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011 and the death of Qasem Soleimani in 2020 have been brought into question. In that case, the US defended itself claiming the killing was not an assassination but an act of "National Self Defense". There had been just under 2,500 assassinations by targeted drone strike by 2015, and these too have questioned as being extrajudicial killings.

Recently, the term “targeted killings” has seeped into political and public discourse to legitimize the United States’ use of the very same tactic: the extrajudicial execution of non-state political adversaries.

Which is fine, nobody is going to bat an eye at killing terrorists.

Back to the original post.

The threat to sites like Arrse is minimal at best. Since it's conception Arrse has {slowly} evolved with the times, reading some of the first few years worth of posts are different from recent years, maybe not in theme but in reply content allowed. Most members are aware of what is and what isn't acceptable these days and any post defying this self moderation is quickly corrected by other members or dealt with by the Moderators, there is nothing to suggest by OFCOM {as it stands right now} that these standards will not be able to continue.

The problem will begin with mission creep. We are all well aware that when the government sets up a department that department will need to justify their continued existence even if everything they ever suggest has been implemented by the citizens in it's entirety. New problems will arise, new thought control ideas will need to be found, new outrages will need to be dealt with and on & on the money roundabout goes.

Except the families of the innocents that get killed along with that terrorist.

This will be my last post on this subject btw.

BTW Spank, we need to set up an interview to discuss a few things and modify your thought process. How about the 18th at 1430 hours....Don't be late and bring a fresh change of clothes, we shall try to make sure the water is at least room temperature.

With all the crap spouted all over the internet esp on the crap social media platforms like twatter & facefcuk, the few staff that OFCOM do have will be pulled out policing all that tripe with very little time to spend reading the drivel that gets posted on here. The 'policing' of this sort of thing when overseas hosts are used aside, the amount of joeys needed to actually check stuff even with algorithm driven software doing the flagging makes it a joke. Intent bad, yes. Practicality? Less than a snow ball in hells chance.

Oh don't worry about the towels, those are provided free of charge. Government will come through in this case! Your attire is your choice, but I would go for something moisture wicking. You could save a follow up appointment by just sticking to the accepted party lines on certain topics, and not disagreeing on any sort of social media platform.

You forget though, government agencies can cherry pick whom they F*ck with. You assume everybody is going to be treated like equals when in fact the individual bias people have will be carried over to their day jobs.
