Oakley Gloves Vs Catterick

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I'm going up to ITC Catterick for a weekend course this weekend. I have a pair of Oakley Pilot 2.0 gloves and was wondering whether they would survive or if i should take something a little stronger.
  2. They should be more than adequate for a weekend of Health and Safety training however if you are spending the weekend fortifying positions you may want something a little stronger.

    You mong.
  3. Monging is what I do :D Cheers
  4. Do you mean these?:

These are mountain biking gloves. If you are wearing these and not pointing a big bike down a hill, you really are the worst walting kit-monstering cadet in the known universe.
  5. Similar, except they have kevlar instead of hard knuckles. And yes they are my mountain biking gloves. Just thought I could save some space and use thinner gloves but obviously not.
    Cheers for the advice anyway
  6. Yes it be.....Come on, you love it really... I mean if I wasn't here, who would you throw abuse at :D
