This thread re-started the O&B Forum just one year ago.

I feel that we should all raise a glass (or feeding tube) to the anniversary.

Coffin dodging for another year :)

Now in my day harrumph! harrumph!........................SLRs, Small Metal Guns, puttees..........harrumph... youngsters don't know how easy they have things...........harrumph!!

No doubt the young whipper-snappers will be along complaining again soon.

  13. Ooh ar. Quick train. What were all those little signs dotted around with "Pound up" and "Pound down" on them. I used to collect them as the sticks they were on made lovely kindling.

Trains were slow when I was in. Must have cost me days of leave getting back to barracks (but there was plenty of drinking time on the train). Then we got back from Cyprus and they had them newfangled Inter City 125s.
