Any clues on the prefix numbers to the old WW1 service numbers:

    i.e.: T2
    M
    M3
    G
    GS
    etc

I am assuming they are New Army numbers and the like.

  2. I have just searched the soldiers that died database and it contains no prefixed numbers. Where have you found them listed with prefixes?

I found them on their BWM and VM and 1914-15 stars.

    I got a reply on www.1914-1918.net.
