Nuclear Attack Attempt Foiled

In the report it stated that traces of explosive were found on the handle, not in the bag. Perhaps indicating that some one who had handled to stuff touched the handle, not necessarily the person who was stopped carrying it. No real drama.

slightly worrying that someone can get anywhere near a nuclear power station 8O

Especially as some have public visitor centres.

I remember visiting Wylfa (Anglesey) a few years ago.

Non-story of the week from Sweden this time. The security checks worked, and we don't know if this is a false positive because of any substance the guy may have handled in the course of his work. Even if he did get a home made bomb onto site, what's he likely to be able to blow up, transformers, switchgear or suport machinery? All of the critical parts are well protected.
