Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Whether it be a case of playing music, very loud, it kind of calms us, or to scare the hell out of the dinks, what would make a top loud-speaker-on-the-side-of-AFV compilation?  What music would you play to waste Sadam by?

    For starters:

For Those About to Rock - ACDC
Smack my Bitch up - The Prodigy
    The music from Wargasm
Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden

But that's only about 20 minutes on one mini-disc.  The last war lasted three days.....
  2. about...

View to a Kill - Duran Duran
Ain't No Mountain High Enough -  Supremes
    Rock The Casba -  Clash
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes - Platters
Give It Up - KC And The Sunshine Band
Hanging Tough - New Kids On The Block
It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over - Lenny Kravitz

    I'll get my coat....
  3. ......Gotta be these! (some are even appropriately titled ;)):

Motorhead - Bomber / Ace of Spades
Discharge - State Violence State Control / Accessories by Molotov
Anthrax - Caught in a Mosh
Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name of
ACDC - Heatseeker / Blow up my Video / This Means War
    Exploited - Fcuk the USA
    W.A.S.P. - Mean Man
    Driller Killer - Rearranged Face
Body Count - Bowels of the Devil
Sex Pistols - Bodies / Holidays in the Sun
Murderdolls - Let's Go To War
    GBH - Give Me Fire
    Guns N Roses - It's So Easy
Metallica - Metal Militia / Damage Incorporated / Battery

    ;D ;)

"...this is a Romeo Foxtrot - Shall we dance?!...."

  4. Two Tribes - Frankie
Bring your daughter to the slaughter - Iron Maiden
    Debaser - Pixies

Eagle, worrying tastes, you don't have the album "I reek of putrification" do you?
  5. Play him anything by Steps, that's sure to make him clear off.
  6. Two Tribes
    Rule Brittania...
    Ride of the Valkyries
    Rock the Casbah
    Jump Around
    Shiny Boots of Leather
    The roof is on Fire
    Vorwärts ....Panzer March

Sorry, but the boxies had the market cornered in songs to go to war with........
  7. Good site there m8 - but where are the classics: "Westerwald Marsch" and "Wenn Die Soldaten"? 8)
  8. Surely you meen "Putrefaction"?  ......err, no! ;) :p ;D
  9. attention seeking..........

Not big, not clever mate, feel a deletion is in order.

Especially when one of the victims is probably known to a few members of this board..

John (Christian) Redman, 30, a former captain in the Royal Logistics Corps and an expatriate player with the Singapore Cricket Club rugby team. ...

What will the Yanks and us do, when they find out the bombing was carried out by the more crooked "gangsta" elements of IndoArmedForces?

    Back to the thread.....

    1812 overture of course  ;D
  10. Have deleted a post, in case you wanted to know where it has gone Wayne.

Whilst never really wanting to limit what is said on these pages.  Wayne, red card, no need for that, ref your last post, grow up.  Not remotely funny.
  11. night attacks gotta to be Bad moon rising

but the last verse allways makes me laugh

Lets try out your rifle the one with the scope
    cos I know some rooftops
tommorow is sunday there gonna be some parades
and back in the house i got me some grenades :D or maybe I just weird?
  14. Led Zeppelin "Immigrant Song" - very, very loud, very very fast, Robert Plant howling "We sail our ships to new lands!"

The Clash - "Death Or Glory" (bit 17/21L for this thread though)
    " " - "Tommy Gun"
  15. I have already produced my own personal CD that I want blaring out of my Warrior turret as I charge in to liberate Beijing or Pyongyang in a few years time:

    Imperial March (Star Wars OST)
    Ride of the Valkyries
    Carmina Burana
    Mars, God of War
    The Barbarian Hordes (Gladiator OST)
    The Battle (Gladiator OST)
    Imperial March

I downloaded some old German and Soviet marching tunes thinking that they would create the right mood... But I didn't find the mental images of hearty, rosy-cheeked farm workers shifting bales of hay for the good of the people particularly inspiring.
