Not your average job for a retired Lt Cdr...

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Sounds very action man/commando comic.

  2. Would an ex-RN chopper jockey really have the tactical skills for that kind of operation?

  3. I suppose it depends on what he did before he was a chopper pilot- 'Apache' book bloke is ex Para iirc.

  4. He certainly has something. Joined the RN as an Ordinary Seaman in 1977. MBE in 1988 and a MiD in 1991, both for his services as a Lt RN in NI.

  5. Exactly, the Corps has many ex Infantry. Several from Para Regt, at present. At one time there was 4 flying ex 'Them' and one serving on the ground.

  6. JoeCivvie - I have heard that They actually still train after Selection, so it is entirely possible that They trained the Lt Cdr what he needed to know for the jobs he was given. He sounds pretty resourceful from the article.

  7. He's got a two page spread in Nuts Magazine which I read this week.

  8. That sort of adulation is only normally reserved for Danny Dyer so he must be the nuts...!

  9. Does he go topless or is it just lingerie?

  10. Jeez, you must be a slow reader! :)

  11. I recall reading an article, late 80s, about a retired Col/Lt-Col from the USMC who now starred in porno movies. A real career change, perhaps JJH might know the truth of it. (If it isn't true I don't care, it should be!)

  12. Gay or straight or 'gay for pay"?
