Not had a Scouser grief fest for a while, so standby. . .

Anfield will be completely empty if that ever happens - how will they replace their supporters?
I've been to anfield about eight or nine times, never seen any bother, apart from when the Sunderland fans turned the fire hoses on them when we had all the anfield road end in the early eighties, but that was mainly good natured banter. It's funny, but when we play Everton there is always trouble or a bad atmosphere or both, so I don't know where you get the scum tag, the scouser fans always create good atmosphere and are of sharp wit and very knowledgeable, unlike the shandy drinking cokneys and southerners.

The Sun owner 'in discussions with Kelvin MacKenzie over his departure'

That story is written with no sense of irony whatsoever. Comparing anyone to a 'zoo animal' - probably the only place most Guardian writers have ever seen any animal other than their scabby cat - is now officially racist. The triumph of Social Media Justice; don't, just don't, compare Diane Abbott to any other mammalian on Earth (other than a grunting, farting, ugly racist hippo, that is; truth's supposedly a defence).
(Can I say that? Will I be Reported by my children? What's the jail term?)

Chin up Snowflake.

Mmmm...you may be right.
Quote:
Sir Norman Bettison, then of South Yorkshire Police, had faced four counts of misconduct in a public office.
He was accused of telling lies about the "culpability of fans" and his role in the wake of the tragedy.
Prosecutors said insufficient evidence meant there was no real prospect of securing a conviction.
Unquote.

For some the inference of this decision (if it suits their purpose) would suggest he was correct...if perhaps poorly presented.
Anyway.......Given the Police may be heavily engaged?

Will they have to repay any of their compo? :cyclopsani:
They'll probably keep it in the shed/garage/attic for 30 years then sell it on ebay to some crusty festival goer.

Owen Jones is a Scouser, I bet even Scousers are embarrassed about that one
Jones was born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England and grew up in Stockport, Greater Manchester,[3] and briefly in Falkirk, Scotland.[4] His father was a local authority worker and trade union shop steward,[5] and his mother (Ruth Aylett) was an IT lecturer at the University of Salford.[5] He describes himself as a "fourth-generation socialist"; his grandfather was involved with the Communist Party and his parents met as members of the Trotskyist Militant group.[6]
He attended Bramhall High School and Ridge Danyers Sixth Form College[7] before studying History at University College, Oxford, graduating with a BA in 2005 and a Master of Studies (MSt) in U.S. History in 2007.[8][9]Before entering journalism, Jones worked as a trade union lobbyist and was a parliamentary researcher for the Labour Party MP John McDonnell, then a backbencher, who later became Shadow Chancellor in 2015.[10][11]

You don’t write for the Daily Mail or the Sun do you? If not you certainly fit the persona of them, ie making sh*t up that has no resemblance to the truth :)

..he is still a noisome 'Graudian' tw*t.... he was on AfNiels programme after the delectable Bruce took her first QT on Beeb on Thrusday last. Jones was nothing more than a mouthy, shouty, empty vesseled Lefty noise maker. He accussed Andrew Neil of being a liar when he was on the 'Spectaor' staff - Andrew Neil certainly shut up the little Lefty squirt. He really does appear to like the sound of his own voice, and like Alistair Campbell is always talking over others on TV. The man is a noisome tw*t..... 'A tw*t is always a tw8, even if you polish it!" - or is that a turd?

Yes, the same arrogance as Campbell - your view is wrong and unimportant, mine is the only one people should hear, therefore I will interrupt and talk over you.
Prats, both
