Bit silly considering hundreds of thousands of soldiers were shot. Why concentrate on 6 who were shot in the morning?

Why would 6 soldiers want to shoot at Dawn with Ian Hislop looking on
Maybe Dawn was shagging behind Ians back and he paid the soldiers to shoot her! :D
In which case she deserved it, frankly :D

Dunno what to make of this Shot at Dawn stuff. On the one hand I feel sorry for the shotblokes(and by extension their families). On the other I'm suspicious of the pinko lefties and sinn feiners who get into this sort of thing, to degrade the WWI heroics.
Be nice to hear the fantastic achievements of the Great War soldiers lauded for a change... Where does the BBC think it's freedom came from?
