The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
Do we chalk this one up as a foreign policy success or otherwise?
whats a nuclear seal then? I bet that scares the sh*t out of the sharks who thought they were the dogs ballax of the underwater world
Letting them hold onto what they already had was the failure. Had we avoided that, we'd at least have had something to show for a deal that for one reason or another they would have bailed on anyway.
Hmm North Korea totaly ignores it's international obligations as and when it likes, surprise, it's not as if they've done exactly the same thing several times in the past is it.
Having been to North Korea, I can say with absolute certainity, there will NOT be another Korean war, the current status quo suits the NK Regime just fine, nothing like a common enemy to bind the people together and backing the Govt and Army along with their "Songun" principle.
"Songun" means Army first , so all resources will go to the Army as a priority, everybody else is expected to accept second rate stuff as a "Revolutionary" endeavor in order to emulate Working Class heroes, i.e. the Army, Workers , Martyrs to defend the Socialist Workers paradise against Imperialist Yankees.
the whole country is still stuck on the 1950s
so business as usual, the NK citizens don't know any different.
It was an interesting trip, I wouldn't go back tho, once was enough, I am very thankful of the ability to go where I want and do what I want.
this is all just diplomatic bluff and guff game.
Thats similar to when i purchased a box of cadburys animals,
The packet advised "To open pack seal must be broken" and when i looked inside whaddaya know,
having said that the lion my favourite was in one piece
At least they asked the UN to remove the seals, But I do remember them blowing up the cooling tower on TV not to long ago was this just for show???
