Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Goatman posted what was the nomination, I will post what should have been the nomination

I did not make clear this was posted by the Iraqi Blog "Iraq the Model" sorry
  2. Have you seen the news today Neo_Con?
  3. Why use the future tense? Is that an indirect admission that it is NOT a model now?

And when, in the future, will it become a model? 5 years, 10 years, 50 years???

It's all well and good whistfully thinking about some future utopia, but what about now?

Iraq is a model now. It's a model of poor intelligence, poor planning, delusions of grandure, death, pain and misery - and most of all - HOW NOT TO DO IT!!!!

All you have neo_com is the hope, the dream, that someday in the future, at an unknown and distant point, maybe, just maybe, Iraq may see peace and prosperity within a liberal democratic tradition. It's a fine dream - nobody can deny that. But just how much suffering must the wretched Iraqi people be put through, whilst this perverse social experiment goes on?

What's the average daily body count these days?
