No Printer

I am running windows 7 and do not have a printer connected, (as I use one when required on my other computer running XP. Printer not supported on Windows 7). When using excel and family tree software, it says no printer detected unable to determine page size. How do I tell the computer that I only want to view the info on the screen, or fool it into thinking I have a printer ?
you could try installing a pdf writer option in your print settings, that might fool it into believing you have one installed.

Or you could just download the driver software for a printer (any printer) and install it, the fact you don't have a physical item connected may not matter.
